January 2026 Update
A lot has happened since production on this project wrapped in April 2025.
Post-production was finished in September 2025, just in time for some major film festival submissions. So far on the film festival front, the project was selected for the ARFF Amsterdam Film Festival, and subsequently won the nomination for Staff Picks at the November 2025 event in Berlin, Germany.
The film also premiered on Connecticut Public Television on December 29, 2025, with a second airing scheduled for February 2, 2026 at 9pm. It also became publicly viewable online at PBS.org.
Several events have been hosted around the topic of the film, starting with a premiere event in Manhattan in association with the Wines of Chile organization in September 2025 that saw Chilean caviar and salmon flown in, as well as approximately twenty wine producers from Chile sampling their wines for a total attendance of 200 guests.
Another unique event was at New York Yacht Club during the final week before Christmas 2025. Jack led a special evening of Chilean wines paired with traditional dishes, spun in a unique way by the yacht club’s chef. It was a sold-out evening with snippets of the film shown and a special experience for all the guests.

The film was also submitted for regional Emmy consideration in the 2025 year, for which we’ll know the results of in the second half of 2026. We’re also waiting patiently to hear back from a multitude of film festivals.
Jack, along with the film, has been featured in several publications thus far. Notable among them are the Financial Diario of Chile publishing a small piece, and Jack co-writing an article about Chilean wine tourism for Indagare. In February 2026 wine writer Carl Giavanti will publish his interview with Jack in Wine Characters and Wine Industry Advisor.
In the meantime, the project persists with the mission of making it into a global television series uncovering the hidden gems of the wine world. Stay tuned to the Instagram account (@uncorked_potential) and this website for more updates.
